Media visits Cuppa and a chat-Bucasia

It’s Wednesday at 9:30am so NHWers gather for a cuppa and a chat, this week it was at the beautiful Seaview Park, Bucasia.

Channel nine reporter Keziah and her camera women Monica called round to have a chat about what all the fuss is about at these events. Along with  15 locals and local police, we chatted about recent events, how some people appear to have different rego plates attached to the same car!! (phone the police if you notice this a nominally). Police Link app which we should all have on our phones was demonstrated and Keziah updated my skills on “Selfie” taking too.

The secret in a “selfie” is to hold the camera high…who would know!(makes you look ten years younger!!! I need that advice)

Interestingly Monica, the person behind the Channel Nine camera went to my “Adopt a cop” school (Mackay Christian College) before heading to University. It is great to see such expertise coming back home.

Frank (2016 NHW Mackay community member of the year) being interviewed about Cuppa a Chat. Frank is also modelling the new NHW Northern Beaches NHW shirts.

If you want to join the NHWers in Northern Beaches next week the Cuppa and a chat will be at Shoal Point park at 9:30am next Wednesday. Catch up on the report that Keziah put together on Channel Nine News tonight at 6pm!
